Carnaval Madness

Well, I WAS drafting a post about Millennial culture coming back as “whoa cool vintage!” and how much I love it because it means I can relive my younger years but with MONEY, however, something of the upmost importance has happened and I absolutely CANNOT.

U2 is releasing their 16th album November 13th.

Something about this album has me swinging from the rafters.

Maybe it’s the album itself. It’s described by the band as messy, provocative, and joyous, and I’m getting that from the band’s latest photoshoot. Super vivid colors. Adam in a salmon suit.

BONO’S TOP HAT?

I may like that more than seeing The Edge in a cowboy hat. Again.

Without question, I am the world’s largest U2 fan. I realize that must make me deeply uncool, but I have already accepted that a long time ago. I was even able to see them live in 2009 for their U2360 tour, and that was a dream come true.

So yeah, Carnaval De Luz has me feeling a certain kinda way. This must be how Swifties feel all the time when Taylor Swift does anything.

(Not knocking T.S., I like her music a lot, but I like her cats more. Which one is your favorite mine is Olivia Benson.)

I’m going to buy all the purple socks and get ready to celebrate the Carnaval. This is going to be my identity for the next 36 months. Be prepared for me to foam from the mouth.

Just like I did when I was a teen, aww.

Seriously, 40 really feels like 15 but with money and bad knees.

If I had known roller derby would destroy my knees I would have…still done roller derby.

HA.
